Industrial Engineering Workshop
Overview
The Industrial Engineering Workshop aims to provide advanced manufacturing technologies to support teaching and research, industrial engineering training and technical services on innovative industrial and manufacturing applications. The workshop is equipped with milling machines, turning machines, CNC machines for metal machining, welding equipment for joining processes. It also houses advanced digital manufacturing systems, such as 3D printing systems and laser material processing systems for non-traditional machining and instruments for test and measurement purposes. In addition to providing engineering training for students to gain hands-on experiences in operations of various manufacturing equipment, the workshop facilitates both undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and laboratories.
