Dr. Jonathan W.C. Ng is an Principal Lecturer of Department of Industrial and Manufacturing System Engineering, The University of Hong Kong. His main research interests are logistics and supply chain management. Prior to joining The University of Hong Kong, he was the Operations Planning Manager of PSA Corporation in Singapore, one of the world's largest container terminals operators. His major duties included developing and managing productivity and quality improvement programs, and also the provision of consultancy service to PSA Logistics Divisions. Some of the major projects completed included AGV Deployment System, Integrated Logistics System for Sumitomo Chemical, Integrated Trucking and Port Logistics Operations, Terminal Capacity Simulator, Yard Crane Deployment Systems, Yard Planning System and Ship Planning Systems.
