The 2016 New Year Party for IELM was held by IEPGA on 31st January, 2016 at Global Lounge, HKU. Almost all the students from the IELM program together research students from the department attended the party. It is grand gathering for all our postgraduates and IEPGA members.

The party stated with an energetic dance show performed by executive members from IEPGA, which brought a warm atmosphere for the party. In this event, students were divided into three groups to compete and play the games, which are designed innovatively by the joint efforts of our members. There were altogether three games, one needed intelligence, one asked for the cooperation of team members and one tested the singing and memorizing ability. Among the interesting games, Ms. Liu Xiyao, who is good at dancing, gave an excellent dance show.

The party lasted for a whole afternoon. Finally, one group won the game competition, and was awarded with fabulous gifts, including Octopus cards, admission tickets of AIA carnival and Elsa doll. All the students fed back that the party was great and unforgettable, which provided them an opportunity to improve their friendships with others, and increase the cohesion of the whole class.
