Contest

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) has been organizing the CILTHK Student Day annually since 1997 to arouse students’ care and interest about the development of the transport and logistics industry. This year the event was co-organised and located in Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) on 21 March. 9 teams from universities/colleges in Hong Kong and Macau participated. Our students from the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE),   NG Cheuk Hei, CHOW Chi Shing, WONG Stephanie (team leader), LEUNG Yuen Lam, LI Fengting and their supervisor Dr. M. SONG delivered a wonderful presentation on the topic “Do you see a bright future for Hong Kong’s air freight? What are the challenges ahead?” and won the first runner up award against other competitive teams. This was the first time for IMSE students to participate in the CILTHK Student Day.
