Abstract

In recent years, human exploration of the world has turned from the macro scale into the micro scale and the study of Nanotechnology (NT) has received a constant attention. There is no doubt that knowledge of NT will have a tremendous effect on a variety of areas such as electronics, materials and biomedical. Among them, bubble, especially micro/nano-bubble, has received attention and been studied in-depth over the past decades for its wide range of applications. There is no denying that for better use of the bubble, the study of the its mechanical properties is of necessary and important.

In this seminar, Miss. YU Huiyang will introduce her study of bubble mechanical properties based on AFM technology, including the research objectives, completed work and future study plan. Such a study result can be further applied to improve the existed applications based on bubbles and help develop more useful applications.
