Mr. CHEUNG Lok Kan who is a graduate student from the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE), received the champion of The HKIE LTD – Best Student Papers Awards 2021, an open competition by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).

Mr. Cheung who graduated from BEng in Industrial Engineering and Logistic Management (IELM) programme in 2021, won the competition with his final year project titled “A Cloud-enabled Smart Recycling System for Enhancing Waste Recycling Management”, which was supervised Dr. H.H. Cheung.

The awardees celebrated their achievements at the HKIE Annual General Meeting on 23rd June 2022.
