In addition to the University entrance requirements, applicants with HKAL qualification shall satisfy the following requirements:

• 2 Advanced Level subjects; or
• 1 Advanced Level subject + 2 Advanced Supplementary Level subjects.
• The Advanced Level subjects must include at least one from the following list:
  Pure Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Biology; Computer Studies; Applied Mathematics

Applicants with other qualifications, such as GCE, IB, Associate Degree and Higher Diploma, students under Early Admissions Scheme and Mainland students will be considered on individual merit basis.
